A collection of 5 portraits / nudes shot on expired Polaroid Polachrome instant film.

Gwen is my friend’s wife. She’s an amazing model. Together, we love to explore photography in its rawest form. For this work, we spent three days in a flat in Paris, playing with lights and windows and manually processing our films during snacks and smoking breaks.

The series was exclusively shot on old Polaroid Polachrome 35mm instant films, that was produced between 1983 and 2003. Very expired at the time we shot it, hence the grain and altered colors. Processed on site on an old Polaroid processing machine. No digital work (Photoshop, etc.) has been done on the images. Just raw analog photography, straight from the film scanner.

Gwen x Phil collection includes 5 images. The first 4 images are sold as 1/5 editions. The fifth image will be automatically sent for free to the collectors of the full series (the first 4 images). The remaining editions will be drawn between other collectors.
