This one of the most unique balloons we have ever found and we will never find another one like it. The fact that all the color is drained out of it tells you how long it had been in the water. We found it about 40 miles offshore near Santa Barbera Island. It may have been out there for years. The strangest feature is the rubber balloon that the sun has fused to the main balloon. Some kind of little mouse thing with a cute red face. Imagine how long this lonely little soul waited to be rescued? Just looking up at the stars at night wondering if anyone would ever find it. This NFT is 1 of 1.

Balloon Brigade Rescue Missions Collection collection image

Balloon Brigade is a 501(c)3 non-profit. We remove balloons, and other floating debris, through direct action efforts before they can hurt wildlife. All donations to Balloon Brigade are tax deductible. This status may apply to both the initial purchase of the NFT and to subsequent royalties paid on transfer of ownership. Please consult with your financial advisor or tax consultant.

All proceeds from this collection go directly to Balloon Brigade to help us make our beautiful coastal waters cleaner and safer for everyone. Each balloon in this collection is truly a one of a kind piece of art shaped by the Pacific Ocean and photographed by internationally awarded creative team of Lee Walters and Shane Hutton.

Pollution in our oceans is a serious problem. Foil balloons, because they are bright, colorful, and float, are the easiest ocean litter to see and to catch. That’s true for people, and, sadly, that’s true for whales, dolphins, seals, fish, turtles, and seabirds as well.
