This series delves into the close relationship between RAW and RAD formats. RAWs are the initial, unprocessed matter that serves as the foundation for the emergence of RAD. These RAWs are 9/16 horizontal video screenshots that capture my attention with their striking colors, patterns, and compositions.

My first impression while staring at RAWs is similar to acknowledging complex math problems or looking at a shuffled Rubik's cube. At first glance, you may not have the entire solution in mind, but the intriguing nature of the RAWs inspires me to search for more refined details and patterns. I spend days examining these intricate landscapes, looking for the perfect crop and exploring various versions of specific parts. This exercise helps me train my abstract senses and focus on reducing the vast amount of data from the video source into a single, captivating composition. I call this final product RAD.

The relations between chaos and order, signal and noise are at the core of my artistic practice. For this particular drop, I wanted to create a series centered around the theme of tsunamis, which embodies the chaos theory concept where small details can have significant effects on a larger scale. The collection highlights various signs and stages of tsunamis, from the waters drawback to the aftermath.
