Yosemite has been a foundational location for the development of landscape photography ever since Ansel Adams popularized the location in the 1900’s. No other location has influenced me more as an artist than Yosemite Valley. Seeing the sheer granite cliffs and vast waterfalls is what originally inspired me to pick up a camera as a teenager. I’ve spent the last 5 years revisiting the valley chasing every location and weather combinations I could possibly find.

The fog height fluctuated across the tree-line as night time temps slowly warmed. Sitting on the cold granite cliff right as dawn's first light illuminated the foggy tree-line below is a memory that I will carry with me for a lifetime. I’ve visited this area time and time again but yet to witness another morning quite like this. The vast 180 degree view of Yosemite Falls to Half Dome required a 15 photo panorama stitch.
