Furphy means a story that is not believable in Australia. Which is what most people think when I tell them how I hopped into a car with a stranger from the internet for a several day trek across flooded plains to get somewhere that looked like this.
Despite my nomadic life on the road, I know for certain that if it weren't for Robert´s bravely letting a traveling elf hop into his Outback pimped car, I would not have been able to get these shots. Very thankful to him!
