A wild European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) examining the surroundings of its burrow between rail tracks in Vienna. The nice bokeh circles are caused by using a wide open aperture and traffic lights in the background.

Those wild urban rabbits have found a habitat near the Danube. After watching them for a while it was clear that this one had its burrow between the railroad tracks in the track bed. This made it possible to predict the best place for taking this photo – for this shot it needed hours of wait on the tracks though.

15% of net profit will go directly to an organization taking care of wildlife in and around Vienna (very likely the IGL-Marchfeldkanal).
