The anonymity of the figures symbolize they are all of us, and we are all of them if we chose to follow in their footsteps.

Each work is composed of hundreds of elements, finely cut out by hand in procreate. The title work ‘Is That All You Get For Your Money’ is part of my DeepCuts collection, digitally collaged motion works with 3 dimensional depth inspired by songs.
Thematically, this collection of cautionary tales represents the ongoing aspirations of succeeding professionally through overworking oneself, and how one ends up trapped while doing so. It’s a costly game, exchanging vast amounts of our life for office work to impress coworkers, friends, or family. Trading the outdoors for cubicles and cages of our own design while living through computer screens. The anonymity of the characters symbolize they are all of us, and we are all of them if we chose to follow in their footsteps.
