Seamless Multi-Chain Interoperability

Celer Network is a blockchain interoperability protocol designed to provide users with a one-click experience across multiple blockchains. It enables access to tokens, DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, governance, and more, all from a single chain. Developers can build inter-chain-native decentralized applications (dApps) using the Celer Inter-chain Messaging (IM) SDK, which facilitates efficient liquidity utilization, coherent application logic, and shared states. This approach simplifies the user experience by allowing interactions with a diverse multi-blockchain ecosystem through a single transaction. As of now, Celer supports 45 blockchains and 175 tokens, highlighting its extensive reach in the blockchain space.

Unique Features: Celer IM and cBridge

Celer's Inter-chain Messaging (IM) framework revolutionizes how multi-blockchain dApps are built and used. Instead of deploying multiple isolated copies of smart contracts on different blockchains, developers can create inter-chain-native dApps with shared states and coherent logic. The IM framework pairs Celer's MessageBus contracts deployed on various chains with the State Guardian Network (SGN), a Tendermint-based relayer blockchain, to send messages or invoke smart contract functions across chains. Complementing this is cBridge, a decentralized and non-custodial asset bridge that supports token transfers across over 40 blockchains and layer-2 rollups. Built on top of the Celer IM framework, cBridge has processed more than $14 billion in cross-chain asset transfer volume for over 540,000 unique users.

cBridge

Celer cBridge is a decentralized and non-custodial asset bridge that supports token transfer across 40+ blockchains and layer-2 rollups. Built on top of the Celer Inter-chain Messaging Framework, cBridge has processed more than $14B cross-chain asset transfer volume for more than 540K unique users, and is quickly growing and expanding into more blockchains and layer-2s.

Peti

Peti is an omnichain liquidity protocol that provides the smoothest experiences for traders and the best liquidity efficiency for institutional market makers. For traders, it is often expensive, if not impossible, to execute large-size omnichain trades due to the high slippages of AMM pricing combined with limited depth of the liquidity pools of cross-chain bridges. Using Peti, traders now can utilize the “just-in-time” liquidity to execute omnichain trades with zero slippage.

Benefits and Use Cases: Enhancing the Multi-Chain Ecosystem

Celer Network's infrastructure offers numerous benefits for both developers and users. For developers, the plug-and-play nature of the Celer IM framework allows for easy integration into existing dApps, often requiring no modifications to already deployed code. This facilitates the creation of applications such as cross-chain yield farming, one-click cross-chain swaps, metaverse games utilizing items from multiple chains, and cross-chain NFT bidding and purchasing. Users benefit from a simplified experience, interacting with complex multi-chain functionalities through single transactions without the need for manual operations across different blockchains. This seamless interoperability enhances user engagement and broadens the accessibility of decentralized applications.

The CELR Token: Utility and Governance

The CELR token serves as the backbone of the Celer Network, playing a pivotal role in its security and governance. Within the State Guardian Network (SGN), CELR is used as a staking token, ensuring the economic security of the network. Validators stake CELR to participate in the consensus process, and users must pay fees in CELR to the SGN for message routing services. These fees are distributed to CELR stakers and validators, incentivizing their participation and securing the network. Additionally, CELR functions as a governance token, allowing holders to vote on protocol upgrades, supported chains and tokens, fee configurations, and the addition of new modules.
