TOEAN TJEMANI started from Paper Cutting art,  from black fancy paper sheets that are easily found by many people without spending a lot of money and everyone can easily do it. Based on handmade Paper Cutting art as the basis for each of his works, even its logo(tjap toean tjemani) was made of black paper which was engraved and processed again digitally through a scanner and computer to get a more precise precision for a logo. So that every work will always have a Paper Cutting art masterpiece which will later be produced as a fashion commodity or else.

By making and exploring Paper Cutting art from the simplest to more complex pattern works,  it has possession  an economic value from making artwork for display to becoming a commodity favored by the market fashion industry.
