Between 1949 and 1982 most countries buried drums of radioactive waste, millions of containers of radioactive waste lie forgotten more than 4,000 meters deep in our waters. The drums oxidise, crack and leak uranium and plutonium, seeping into every particle of our planet.
The collection is based off 5 original 30x30 inch mixed media wave paintings by Samantha Chilvers. Each Wave Junkie comes with a unique story about its creation that is designed to bring awareness to climate change, often with a sci-fi twist!
