When I start to paint, I don't do it on an empty surface but on a form of space previously defined by the type of surface. In accordance with the established expressive associations, the work will gradually transform from a mere pictorial plane to an experimented graphic space that will connect with the viewers' subjectivity.
Cuando comienzo a pintar, no lo hago sobre una superficie vacía sino sobre una forma de espacio previamente definida por el tipo de superficie. De acuerdo con las asociaciones expresivas establecidas, la obra se irá transformando de un mero plano pictórico a un espacio gráfico experimentado que conectará con la subjetividad de los espectadores.
In the composition of my works, the spaces appear fragmented and reach their maximum point in the geometric direction of the light. In this new pictorial stage, I propose a narrative journey directing the viewer's gaze and the light becomes the path that subsequently frames houses and human figures with their mouths closed and seductive gaze from the front and from the side on endless female necks modeled by lines that form sinuous curves.
En la composición mis obras, los espacios aparecen fragmentados y alcanzan su punto máximo en la dirección geométrica de la luz. En esta nueva etapa pictórica, propongo un viaje narrativo dirigiendo la mirada del espectador y la luz se convierte en el camino que enmarca posteriormente casas y figuras humanas con la boca cerrada y seductora mirada de frente y de costado sobre un sinfín de cuellos femeninos modelados por líneas que formar curvas sinuosas.
