This image is part of Ed Freeman’s Desert Realty series - pictures of old and sometimes abandoned buildings, mostly in the southern California desert, that have been digitally retouched to isolate and highlight their unique character. This series has been the subject of numerous magazine articles and nearly a dozen one-man museum and gallery exhibitions across the United States over the past few years.
By owning this NFT, you will own the rights to the proceeds of the physical print that corresponds to your minted NFT. In this case, if you mint Edition 17, you will also own the net proceeds from the corresponding next sale of the physical print of Sundowner Motel (edition 17 of 50). Once the physical print sells, the net proceeds will be sent to the wallet of your choosing.
Ed Freeman's Desert Realty collections are finally brought to the metaverse! Our goal is to grow this project beyond the 2D space and bring you 3D real estate of these works in the future.
To start, the first released NFTs will come with the rights to the corresponding edition print. So if you mint the 3rd edition of an Ed Freeman NFT, once that physical editioned print sells, the proceeds will belong to the owner of the corresponding NFT (you). Editions have sold between $450-$5,000 USD. Initial collectors will be given priority on future drops and when the time comes, digital real estate.
The NFTs editions will be randomized giving the first collectors to invest in this project greater changes at owning higher valued at very low prices.
