His influence on the youth, when I was growing up, was intense. We idolized his passive nature and gravitated to the things he said. Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono used their honeymoon as a "Bed-In" for PEACE at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel, March 1969, and attracted worldwide media ridicule.
