These obelisks were a grave threat and even more dangerous than any monster- constructed from human greed. They sucked the life out of the ground and air converting it into the toxic substance used for generating machine energy. This liquid flowed out of the obelisk creating ever growing pools and spread the corruption further. This land was already dead and infertile, but for now at least it was contained to this mountain valley. However, were it to spread any further it would certainly consume the neighboring village. The hero had to find a way to stop it or at very least make sure it was forever contained. It was hard to move and breathe, but the she endured, walking forward, careful to not touch any of the green substance. The first step was to figure out how the obelisks consumed the life around them. This painting is a part of the Adventure series- I initially started with the Forest Dungeon. The series is about discovery, personal growth and overcoming various challenges.
