Volkov Genesis:

Dreary. Sadist. Sick. Horrifying. Haunting. Pick one or all of these descriptors when speaking of Volkov. Growing up in the derelict sanctuaries of the ancestral metaverse, his only mission is to instill chaos and uncertainty in life. Finding joy in the falters of apekind, everything Volkov does in the name of destruction. He is powered through the spirit world, a gift to him, a curse to anyone else. He is able to conjure evil fallen spirits to do his bidding. It is even stated Volkov himself is no longer alive, and he can utilize his own spirit from the otherside, allowing him to move through the metaverse without being bound by the laws of its code. The spirit powers seem endless, from abducting your will, to burning metaphysical beings out of existence.

Volkov and Zaire met in what would be otherwise classified as a cliche scene out of a novel. A big believer in the spirit world, Zaire decided to venture to the sanctuaries of the ancestral metaverse, to see what he could learn and perhaps utilize himself. In a confessional conversation, Volkov could feel the immense power and evil emanating off of Zaire. In uncharacteristic fashion, Volkov ended the confession, and asked what his plot was. When Zaire told him of his plans to rewrite ape history, Volkov with an eerie smile, merely said, “Let’s unleash the rapture”. Many do not know this, but this is the moment the Order of Simiens was born...
