がしゃどくろ

死者の魂や怨念が集まって巨大な骸骨の姿になった妖怪。1960年代の児童書で創作された妖怪であり、民間伝承の妖怪とは出自が異なる。1845年に歌川国芳の描いた『相馬の古内裏』に登場する巨大な骸骨は実際はがしゃどくろではないが、大きな骸骨であることからがしゃどくろのルーツとして引用されてきた。骸骨の妖怪は800年代から存在する。 GASHADOKURO is a yokai, a giant skeleton formed from the souls and grudges of the dead, created in children's books in the 1960s, and differs in origin from the yokai of folklore.The giant skeleton in 'Soma no Kouchiura' painted by Kuniyoshi Utagawa in 1845 is not actually a GASHADOKURO, but has been cited as the root of GASHADOKURO because it is a large skeleton.Skeletal specters have existed since the 800s.
