Elizabeth's parents worked for the drug company that invented the vaccine and was able to stop a pandemic virus in 2032. So they lived in a nice house on the side of a mountain. Her parents were very concerned about Elizabeth's mental health, so they bought her a state-of-the-art helmet with a neuro-scanner that allows her to fully immerse herself in the virtual world. By examining her brain, the helmet created a perfect virtual image, which was very similar to the real Elizabeth, but with some additions.
