Your dream quickens as you venture through the vast dimensions of possibility associated with your creation and wind up in darker territory.
In some, people aren't receiving your work anything like you'd hoped. A few run in fear, while others turn their backs in disgust. Crying can be heard from one, as rage emanates from another, where it doesn't take long for people to turn their anger toward you.
In that moment you realize all of the flaws in your creation - what you'd overlooked, what could be better. You fret over the possibilities which could stem from misinterpretation and misuse.
Doubt, guilt, and fear start to surge, swirling around you like malevolent spirits, invading your thoughts and emotions.
Wondering "What have I done?" you wake in a cold sweat...
My genesis collection has roots in love and family, whether by blood, or by choice. The initial pieces you'll find here are fractal works, created in 2009 for my Mum, who found solace and joy in them during her last few months before losing her battle with cancer. She would be thrilled at the idea of these being put out into the world, so that others might enjoy them, too.
I'm excited to release these as genesis pieces, in a collection I've called "Family Love". Collectors who jump on board at this stage are effectively early adopters of me, perhaps motivated by connections we've already formed, or by the potential that they sense in the path I'm forging.
Either way, I'm happy to have you.
