The box is beeping now, with longer beeps

A small child, couldn't have been older than 10, banged loudly on your door last night and gave you this small box and told you "please don't smash it, and give it to the green guy"
You didn't have much time to check it then, too much tequila with the the Fuck It guy, so it lay on the coffee table until now.

As you examine it, you see why the kid told you not to smash it...
You've been decent with puzzles your whole life, maybe not great, but you always enjoyed them at least, and had a handful of puzzle boxes as a kid, but this thing has no discernable way to open, and isn't like any of those puzzle boxes you had as a kid.

Fuck It Guy laughed at you for not figuring out what to do with the box yet, and didn't bother to mention what's in it, or how to open it... Dude is kind of a jerk sometimes.
