Bomb Story: Although The Hundreds started off as a men’s brand, early on, there was a sister line called TENS that shared the same inspiration and aesthetic. Madam was the TENS’ brand mascot and borrowed the same colors and styling of Adam, but reflected the strong and charismatic women that surrounded us in streetwear. Unfortunately, TENS only lasted a few seasons, but Madam was intermittently brought back into The Hundreds’ world, recently making a cameo in the 2021 Adam Bomb collection. Today, she holds it down as an on/off-again love interest for Adam and a good and loyal friend to the Adam Bomb Squad. The Pure Madam is the classic Madam Bomb logo imagined in a number of The Hundreds-approved colorways, pulled directly from our base palette. Unlike most of the other art in the ABS collection, this NFT features the only Madam Bomb that is colored up in these tones. | Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
