I lost my best friend and fur baby on August 29th 2022 and am still processing.

To Pepper: I still remember when I would cry, you would lay your little paw on my arm in order to comfort me and even if I didn't want the cuddles because I was too emotional, you would keep coming back in an attempt to help me feel better. I miss the feeling of your little paw on my back while sitting on the couch. This was your attempt to pet me as we humans had done to you so many times. I miss the silly howling you would do and the way you would chase me if I ran through the house. The hardest thing I have ever done was seeing you purr during your last moments as you drifted to your forever sleep in my arms. I miss you. You were more than just a cat. You were family. You are forever in my heart. I hope someday we will meet again.
