The Naga, according to folklore, is a symbol of greatness, might and power. It is worshiped by many people. Therefore, I chose the characteristics of the crawling Naga to design the Mudmee pattern. Silk threads in yellow and gray tones were used as warp, contrasting with the purple and blue weft lines giving it a more modern feel.
MUDMEE collection was designed and created by group of artists who is specialized in Ikat technique and joined Grand Master project in master level for competition to show their skills, creativity and reflex the cultural heritage. NFT buyer for MUDMEE collection will be entitled for discount in physical craft work, which could be further negotiated.
