I have a massive fascination for architecture and this building is perhaps one of the ones that fill me with the most awe. It is the new culture studio and it was designed by architect Demas Nwoko and the fascinating part is that the building materials are all gathered on site. This was what drew me in to take this shot, the detail in the stones and the impeccable skill in the design is fucking amazing!
I have spent the past 2 years traveling Nigeria and documenting stories about our culture, history and landscapes. Throughout my life, African countries have been depicted in a negative manner in the media and I do this to show the world that Africa is lush, rich and diverse.
