El nombre de esta colección se remonta a los años 50 cuando Susana Duijm, Primera Miss Mundo venezolana, entró a un restaurant a comerse una arepa y el dueño al verla con un vestido de puntos o pepas, le dijo que era una "Reina pepiada". Y así se bautizó uno de los rellenos más populares de la arepas venezolana. EDO, también rinde homenaje a la artista japonesa, Yayoi Kusama, conocida mundialmente por utilizar puntos o lunares de colores en su obra plástica.
The name of this collection dates back to the 1950s when Susana Duijm, the First Venezuelan Miss World, entered a restaurant to eat an arepa and the owner, seeing her in a dress with dots , told her that she was a “Reina Pepiada” (“dot Queen”) . And so one of the most popular fillings of the Venezuelan arepas was baptized.
