Anthropocene - The Earth is about 1000 years into the Anthropocene Epoch and civilization has been taken over by global warming and climate change. The collective effect of the melted ice caps, and expansion of sea water has resulted in humans inhabiting amphibious dwellings. This project carves into a relic mining site, the articulation of the divergence and convergence of the contours forms the spaces within. The sequence of events curated in the space vary in the degree of immersivity and detachment from the real, triggering different senses and depths of impact of the viewers or visitors. Anthropocene serves as one of the network of museums and exhibition spaces that commemorates the series of events leading and relating to the Anthropocene Epoch, through a blend of physical and digital worlds.
