Crochet blanket square, 1/1.

This is your opportunity to own a piece of the first crochet blanket constructed on the blockchain, crocheted by me and minted one NFT at a time! And, if you collect the most NFTs from this collection, at the endof the project you’ll also receive a lovely, warm blanket.

This blanket will be a modern, minimalistic design of colorful polka dots on a black background. As anyone who works with yarn will tell you, crocheting with black yarn is a labor of love so this blanket is extra special!

I’m randomizing the colors of the polka dots as I crochet the squares. Playing off OpenSea’s lazy minting process (where the NFT doesn’t get transferred on-chain until the first purchase/transfer), you get to help me randomize the design of the blanket even further.

At the end of this project, the squares will be assembled in the order and orientation in which they were minted. So, if the 20th square I crocheted gets purchased/minted first, that will be the first square of the blanket.

Although some crochet squares may look similar, each NFT is 1/1. The total collection will be 180 crochet squares/less than 180 NFTs.

When all squares have been completed and at least 80% of the NFTs in this collection have been sold, the person who owns the most NFTs from this collection will receive the following gifts from me as a thank you for supporting this experiment:

1. An NFT of the assembled squares; and
2. The physical afghan, measuring approximately 60” by 72”.
