This collection is the NFT version of works by the well-known Japanese cat clay artist Ms. Risa Takahashi. Most of her works are inspired by puns. Many of them will cause you to smile if you do not burst into side-splitting laughter.
Translating Japanese puns is difficult as it is often impossible to precisely render them in another language. For this reason, the titles of works and their descriptions are “explanatory” only and may not properly convey the meaning of the Japanese title, but our translator, KB, is overjoyed when he manages to arrive at a translation that he thinks is spot on.
