Ok, fine - all nine Muses have accidentally inspired an evil plan or two - but Mel thrives on causing as much chaos as possible. We can't blame her for the worst atrocities in history because, after all, she only puts the ideas in human heads, she can't force you to act on them. She likes to brag that she's never felt an ounce of empathy but Thalia once caught her crying to Celine Dion's "Heart Will Go On". Question is, were they tears of woe ...or ecstasy?
Greek myth describes the Muses as agents of inspiration. They gave artists, inventors and philosophers the ideas that built modern civilisation. Every invention, every discovery, every masterpiece, came from these 9 immortal women.
And if the Muses were real? If they were still alive today? We think they'd want to rewrite history.
Releasing in 2022, The Muses is a narrative NFT project on a mission to tell a different version of events, highlighting the womxn and minorities who built civilisation as we know it, for a more inclusive Web3. Our end goal is to develop and produce a live-action TV series that will spread our message of inclusivity as far and wide as possible.
