Each one a different life, and a different fate

I wonder what awaits me at the end of each
What joys and sorrows, what gains and losses
What love and hate, what peace and strife
What dreams and nightmares, what crowns and crosses

But I cannot see beyond the present moment
Nor can I walk on more than one path at a time
I have to make a choice, I have to take a step
