Transactions is a series of works created by Constantine Nicholas, from 1992-2004. All original works created in oil, ink, plastic and metal leaf (Gold or Silver) on canvas or canvas board. General charateristics include text, writing, scribes and layers of golden varnish. References to texts, journals of early voyages to Australia and the South Pacific. 

Transactions question colonial history and the role art plays as a commodity for sale, a token, or to transact as a currency itself - before we were thinking about non-fungible tokens or currencies.

This edition: 
All digital images from orginal works offered as 1/1 and 1/50  limited/special editions, per image.
