Scientifically known as amanita muscaria, this beautiful iconic mushroom originates in the boreal regions of the Northern Hemisphere and was unintentionally introduced to many countries of the Southern Hemisphere, I found this particular specimen in a pine forest in Victoria, Australia. The fly amanita typically associates itself with deciduous and coniferous trees. I hope you enjoy this unusual perspective of arguably the most iconic mushroom on our planet. This collection is called 'Natures Artworks' because I give nature most of the credit for these beautiful creations.
