We have chosen India as the tree plantation drive is also happening in India. The Banana Tree is not really a tree and instead giant herb.. However the plant is called a tree in India and is one of the most versatile plant ever. The fruit is eaten and even offered to the gods. The raw fruit, the flowers and the bark is consumed as vegetables. The leaves are used as plates for all ceremonial meals. The fibre extracted from the plant is used to make carpets, clothes. It's pretty much a zero waste plant. And there could be no better plant to launch this NFT project.
