ABOUT THE COLLECTION: For over a decade Rimo Zeta ran ATRAKARTE, a free art silk-screen printing workshop, open to anyone eager to learn, express themselves, or needed a place to work. He gradually intervened the building until covering much of it with his recurrent characters, as well as surrounding areas.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Rimo Zeta (Caracas, 1971). Underground artist mostly dedicated to oil painting, street art, and silk-screen printing. A stranger to the formal art market, he labors and exhibits mostly in squats in Barcelona. His characters, stickers, and murals can be found in many parts of the city.
SOBRE LA COLECCIÓN: Durante más de una década, Rimo Zeta dirigió ATRAKARTE, un taller libre de arte y serigrafía, abierto a cualquiera con ganas de aprender, expresarse, o necesitara un lugar para trabajar. Gradualmente fue interviniendo buena parte el edificio y zonas aledañas.
SOBRE EL ARTISTA:
Rimo Zeta (Caracas, 1971). Artista underground dedicado más que todo a la pintura al óleo, arte urbano y serigrafía. Ajeno al mercado formal del arte, trabaja y exhibe sobre todo en okupas. Sus personajes, pegatinas y murales están por muchas partes de la ciudad.
