This Sour Diesel Genesis Card will be the first in a series of Genesis Cards that we plan to publish, which will have unique functions and value within a larger Cannabis Trading Card Platform. On 4/20/21 we are dropping 5 Genesis Cards with more to come in the series later.
To create this One of One NFT - Califari has warmed up the old Sour Diesel tractor with fun animation from Liz Sabol set to music from our hill dwelling friends The Wylie Woods Band, who really know how to put the diesel into the sour by using their string instruments with serious power and twang. This Sour Diesel design by Matt Leunig has become such Classic for Califari that a sequel is in development now.
Artist Matt Leunig's early work consisted mostly of screen printed gig posters for touring bands and comic books but has since grown into all fields of illustration. His work has appeared in numerous publications, video games, music videos, art galleries. Matt has done posters for bands like, The Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Ween, Primus, String Cheese Incident, NIN, Eric Church, The Foo Fighters, Sweetwater 420 Fest, The Growlers, Van Morrison and many more!
Califari is on a mission to create great art for our world’s most beloved plant - cannabis of course, whether it is a Sativa, Indica, Hybrid or CBD = we love it and celebrate it as nature’s gift to all people of Earth. We believe that among numerous healing properties that cannabis provides people, one of them is heightened access to the magic moment of spirituality that is often fueled further with a setting that includes music, art and great friends. The place where epiphanies begin and stress fades into the stratosphere - that special place where nothing matters more than your flowing and present curiosity. Califari wants to take you there.
We plan to initially release 5 NFTs for sale starting 4/20/21. These animated NFT's bring the Califari Strain Art Series to life in a new and original way that features incredible musical artists providing the soundtrack to our strains!
