You have no control who tells your story. You live your truth, they tell your lies. You try to tell your story the best you can but only a few will hear and even fewer will listen. Your version of your story is only as valid as people’s expectations of you. This means that your story is not really yours to tell. Control is futile here. The only purpose we have is to live—fully and wholeheartedly. Everything else is simply beyond us.

BEHIND THE SCENES: When Bola and I were figuring out how to collaborate, how to bring our worlds together in the most beautiful collision possible, we decided to narrow it down to her mandala style and my surrealism style. Mandalas are very soulful symbols, almost like a spiritual map of some sort. With that in mind, it was only right to thematically tap into the "within" side of my practice, where I explore self-awareness and existentialism.

And together, we made magic.
