When I created this piece in 2019, the most acute and concerning virus seemed to be mankind itself. That focus dramatically shifted on a global scale just two weeks after.
In this piece, the “Homo Influenza” Virus is shown as an entity with its own logic and intrinsic energy. It moves organically and smoothly, yet changes direction quickly, following an inner impulse. The viewer's gaze follows the languid movements of the virus.
