Pop Fiction is the second installment of Burn Adventures by LOGIK.

The camera pans over the lush hills, the sun shining bright in the sky. We see a sprawling mansion overlooking what is now, “Bear Town”, and the camera cuts to Charles sitting at a table near his swimming pool., and the camera cuts to Charles sitting at a table near his swimming pool. His stunning wife gets out of the pool, barely covering up before joining Big Charles at the table for breakfast. She checks the news while swirling her glass of wine as she smokes her cigarette.

Big Charles takes a sip of his water with lemon and glances at his watch. He picks up his phone and dials a number. On the other end of the line, we hear the sound of the phone ringing. You answer, and Big Charles gets straight to the point.

"My g," Big Charles says, "I need a favor. I need an art dealer to acquire some forbidden art for me. I have some significant friends that need this art, and I'm willing to forgive your debt if you complete this job for me. I'll give you 48 hours to think about it and let me know your decision."

You know that you’re backed into a corner. You are aware that Big Charles is in deep with very powerful people and that you might get in trouble. You’re hesitant, but you also know you need the money. Big Charles knows your mother is sick and he's well aware of your past as an artist on the rise before 'The Bears' took over and banned art. You’ve lost a few friends to R.U.G.S., Regulation of Urban Groups Security, the government's secret police force in charge of enforcing the art ban.

You continue in a worried tone, "Charles, I'm not sure I can do this. My mother is sick and I have lost friends to RUGS. I don't want to put myself in danger and end up like them."

Big Charles understands your concerns, but he also knows that you’re in a difficult situation and he's willing to use that to his advantage. He responds in a calm and persuasive tone, "Look, I understand your concerns. But think about it, this is a way for you to take care of your mother, and yourself. And I promise it’ll be a piece of cake. You're a smart and gifted artist, you got this. Plus, think of the money you'll be making, you'll be able to pay for your mother's medical expenses and live comfortably. Don't let the fear of R.U.G.S. stop you from taking this opportunity."

You know that Charles is not making a request, but a threat, even though it's delivered in a persuasive tone.

"All right, Charles," you say. "I'll think about it.”

You hang up the phone to think about the offer, weighing the pros and cons and trying to decide what to do.
