This image was taken on a sharp frosty morning in an overgrown area where tall dry plants and grasses had succumbed to the -10 degree Celsius Arctic temperatures creating tiny ice crystals. Sunlight can refract when it shines through ice crystals so I experimented with bokeh to throw the refreacted circles out of focus creating this colourful spectral backdrop. Proceeds from this artwork are split: 50% to the artist and 50% to Vox-Animals, supporting animal protection through Digital Art of Hope
