Rocks of the North was created during a fantastic sunrise on the north coast of Ireland. As the sun rose over the island in the background and into the clouds above, the sky lit up all sorts of golden orange, which reflected beautifully on to the wet rocks and sea. The slow shutter speed allowed me to produce the milky effect from the waves crashing through the rocks, which I feel adds a lot to this image.
