The beeswax casing workpiece is one of the components in the betel tray with pedestal set. It is used for putting wax for Thai monarchs. The work has been replicated from the historical pictures. The piece iscomplemented by the artist's imagination to suit the present-day application. It is therefore lightweight and can be used to place the incense creating a soft scent, floating like that of a god. This workpiece of art signifies the transition of the ages causing the historically valuable items to disappear and become a mere collecting item.
