PARTY-CAKED CAMELS: An homage to Caked Apes and the interactive shenanigans of the 2022 NFT community.
Caked Camels is a response to the phenomenon of the interaction between artists in the NFT community, their AI-generated projects and collections, and their growing moves toward finding ways to connect between lands in the assorted metaverses and the metaverses themselves in the dawn of 2022.
The Party-Caked Camels have gleefully joined the community melée. Each work in this Collection is a unique, hand-created, 1/1 NFT, by the individual artists who contributed to the collection: Sondra Bernstein, Pilar Cote, Joyce Korotkin, Rebecca Rose, JenJoy Roybal, Dr. Lemny Perez, Kilsy Pix, Kas Vegas, JBR Visuals
"PARTY-CAKED CAMELS: Caking Strictly Prohibited in the Club, Sir" is a 1/1 NFT created by Joyce Korotkin. Cameo appearances by Arabian Camel # 6935, Bored Ape Yacht Club #5679, and Notorious Frog #425. This NFT with a white background is a Special Edition that served as the Introduction to the project on the searchlight.art webpage. A variation with a different color background will be minted and held for giveaways and gifts.
I have been an artist since the age of 3, when I scratched a line in brick with a pebble, and stared at it, transfixed, for hours. I've been drawing ever since. I have been making digital art since 2021. 2022 marks my entry into the metaverse, 360° immersive dome art and beyond to wherever these new paths lead. I tend to work in Series united by concept, style, or story, with occasional lone mavericks derived from sudden inspirations. I’m stylistically diverse; sometimes representational and sometimes abstracted and surreal; I imply rather than state, allowing the viewer to participate in the narrative. I revel in color, composition, line and the quality of light that evokes recognition and memory.
