Shooting cityscapes at night can be an unnerving experience, luckily touch wood I haven't ever had an issue with anyone trying to mug me. Shooting in Frankfurt felt pretty safe though, safer than I feel in the U.K. I waited under the bridge until the blue hour, and for the ambient and artificial light to balance.

My photographic journey started in 1992. Over the past 30 years I have photographed many subjects with landscape and travel at the forefront. Light is the most important aspect of my work, I work at the best times of day using natural light for my landscape work and a mix of ambient and artificial light for my travel and architecture work. I never tire of the hunt for that perfect image. Being stood behind the camera is my escape from the norm, capturing moments in time that I can look back on and which transport me back to that moment in time. Each of the unique 1/1 images in this collection include a signed aluminium print.
