Mercury is a rocky planet. It has a solid, cratered surface, much like the Earth's moon. Despite its proximity to the Sun, Mercury is not the hottest planet in our solar system – that title belongs to nearby Venus which is very hot because of its dense atmosphere.

My fascination with space started when I was five years old. My grandpa used to wake me up in the night just to show me the stars and constellations in the night-sky. These are my best childhood memories. Later on, I got into reading books about space as well as playing games like Nintendo's Galaga and StarCraft. Now as a grown-up, I continue carrying this love for space with me.
Every planeth is a piece of my heart - a heart that loves these mysterious, endlessly captivating celestial objects.
