On the same day that the Iron Born was revealed to be a Hatcher, Aeleon of clan Aeux saw the basilisk in the skies above Fael. With two dire omens in one day, he found the motivation he needed to craft a weapon of considerable power; something that would require him to forge at the very pinnacle of his capabilities. Thus, the Fire Omen emberclave weapon was born by the imbuement of the Rune of Speaking. Aeleon gathered silver from Silvervane, gold from the prime alchemist's hoard and copper from the locket of the fairest young maiden in Fael, bestowed to her upon the day of her vow. As his alchemy reached the amber shift, he invoked the speak rune and out poured fire in the shape of metal from his hands. The elements of his metals were consumed completely. It was a worthy forge. To implement a modern utility, as is always the way with clan Auex, he cut the shape of the blade with a laser welder; a tool of his own design. The weapon he then presented to The Prime, who denied the gift, saying "Aeleon, you are one of our finest bladesmen. Bear this for battle, for why should it rest in my hand? And see that you keep close to my guard. Dark times are upon us. Who can say whether your blade could light our way?"
