Barbarella 3.0 stands for the departure into the digital world. The award winning artist Lucia Brauburger (Woman Art Award 2020) who lives in Germany and Italy, sees the digitalization of art as a great opportunity to multiply her work without losing authenticity. For her, digital art is as individual as it is democratic, and an appropriate exaggeration of the traditional culture industry. With her digitized collages, which for a great part undergo a complex production process in the original, she builds a bridge between the present and the future. With various exhibition projects throughout Europe, Lucia considers herself an interdisciplinary mediator between worlds. Beyond her career as an artist, she is the author of several successful non-fiction books. She characterizes her work on OpenSea as a connection between surrealism, pop art, and dadaism.
