East Croydon Cool is a community marketing platform that showcases the coolest things to see, do and experience in Croydon.
East Croydon Cool is keen to start the NFT conversation in Croydon. We have created a series of NFTs that incorporate NFT and Cryptocurrency language (with a tongue-in-cheek twist) to help educate people on some of the key terminology.
The 'Croydon Collateral' NFT
Collateral is something pledged as security for repayment of a loan - something that can be forfeited in the event of a default. Laced with a touch of irony, given Croydon’s current financial situation, this piece is a nod to the fact NFTs can now be used to provide collateral for loans.
This NFT comes with added utility - you will be sent an East Croydon Cool mug in the post after purchase.

East Croydon Cool is a community marketing platform that aims to strengthen local pride and encourage people to embrace the Borough's exciting new changes as well as the businesses, organisations and people who have been here for years. One of the coolest things about Croydon is its creative credentials (including both Creative Enterprise Zone AND London Borough of Culture status).
With NFTs set to revolutionise the creative industries, East Croydon Cool wants to start the NFT conversation and help local artists to embrace this new world. We have created a series of NFTs that incorporate NFT and Cryptocurrency language (with a tongue-in-cheek twist) to help educate people on some of the key terminology.
