About the artist:

Inga Gladkikh – Ukrainian artist. Born in1966 in Kiev, Ukraine.

In 1984 graduated Taras Shevchenko State Art school in Kiev. In 1991 graduated from the graphic arts department of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine.

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993. Participated in All-Ukrainian and International art exhibitions and competitions since 1989.

Winner of the posters’ competition, dedicated to the “Kiev Day” in 1989. Laureate of the art competition, dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations in 1996.

Works are in the collections of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine, of the Kaliningrad Regional Museum of Fine Arts “Kartinnaya Gallereya”, Taras Shevchenko Art Museum in Beijing, in galleries and private collections of Ukraine, Russia, USA, Germany, France, Poland, Japan, China.

The «Namysto» collection consist of many original NFT beads created by hundreds of Ukrainian artists of all ages. This project is created to support Ukrainian artists and army during the Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.

Namysto - a traditional Ukrainian decoration of pearls, corals, stones, etc., worn around the neck. Namysto are one of the oldest jewelry known since the Paleolithic. Now they are worn mainly by women, but historically they have been used as jewelry by men. The Namysto necklace can also be named after the material - "corals", "beads", "beads". One element of the Namysto necklace (pearl, stone, etc.) is called a «Namystyna» (rarely a bead).
