The Aurora Australis from Camp Saddle in Canterbury, New Zealand.
After a hard hike with 30kg of equipment, I was very pleased the Aurora made an appearance ! The Large & Small Maganellic clouds can also be seen, these are galaxies that can only be seen from the Southern Hemisphere.

I'm Paul Wilson, an Astrophotographer from New Zealand. Born in 1986. I picked up my first camera in 2014 and haven't looked back. Self-taught and constantly pushing the limitless creative potential of photography, always in search of the next shot. I'm happy to have made so many friends through photography, won awards, and worked with amazing companies.
