Carmen Molina Cantabella is an artist born in the city of Murcia, Spain, in 1977. Her extensive work is based on a figuration to which she always adds a peculiar touch of irony, in a very subtle way so that, as happens with the spices in the kitchen, she achieves peculiar creations, between surrealism and social criticism, combining elements from disparate contexts recreating an enigmatic discourse that does not leave the viewer indifferent and induces us to think. This work belongs to his series "TNT. Games in Japan" in which she introduces a new element, eroticism, the western culture represented in the character of Tintin and the Japanese culture represented in an oriental woman with a pale complexion fuse in this series of paintings resulting in an enigmatic scene representative of Carmen Cantabella's discursive line. In this provocative scene Tintin discovers the nudity of the oriental woman opening her kimono susntuosamented with prints, the figures center the weight of the composition creating a balanced game of spaces around the couple.
