Liliana Gálvez Heras (Mexico City, 1981) takes advantage every year that the arrival of the hurricane season in Mexico gives artists the opportunity to discover landscapes, climatologies and luminous effects that do not occur during the rest of the year. "19'55 hrs" is inspired by a nocturne in which from inside the car while it is driving, the vision of the sky, the road and the lights of other vehicles observed through the windshield flooded with rainwater offers a metaphor of confused, diluted and blurred reality, an image that for the artist portrays the social and political reality of her country, Mexico.
